We have another brief listen at a Leighton song, “Your Lies Are The Truth”. I am really liking this!

Meester Says Blair Would Approve Of Her Debut Single

“I think it’s still sophisticated, which is special to me, and it’s you know, definitely my style of the lyrics and it definitely has a lot to do with my experiences in life. But it’s… you know… I don’t think [Blair] would be mad at it.”

Shower Scene Ends With … A Bloody Bellybutton

When you think of Aly & AJ, one of the last names that might come to mind is Alfred Hitchcock. And when you think of Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly, blood and gore isn’t exactly the order of the day. But next September, all these diverse forces will come together for The Roomate, a movie a Single White Female storyline and hopes to terrify a new generation with a classic scene revolving around two key words: bloody bellybutton.

“I think it’s exciting to be able to continue to do our music, but at the same time branch out into our own acting careers,” explained Aly Michalka recently, proud of not only her and AJ’s new band name (78violet), but also movie careers that recently had Aly shoot Roommate with Leighton, Minka and Cam Gigandet. ‘Roommate was super cool to shoot with Leighton and Minka. They were sweet girls, and I had a fun time doing my crazy shower scene.”

Leighton Meester – "Somebody To Love" Song Debut

Leighton’s debut single has premiered today! She told Ryan Seacrest “it’s definitely about what’s going on in my life and I think anybody can relate. You’re crazy, you’re busy, you’re young and you’re running around and it’s really hard to find somebody to love. People love you but you don’t really love them.”

Read the lyrics below and listen to the song.

Paris, France to Michigan
London town and through Berlin
I can’t believe this place I’m in
Everywhere and back again
Porcelain and China dolls
Give me one and I’ve seen them all
Got my back against the wall
Wonder where I’ll be tomorrow?

Entertainment Weekly's First Look At The Roomate

Loved 1992’s Single White Female? Then you’ll love 2010’s Leighton Meester-Minka Kelly thriller, The Roommate. Like Female, Roommate focuses on obsession: The film follows a college freshman (Meester) who develops an unhealthy fascination with her roommate (Kelly). For her role,Meester says she went method, researching mental illness with the help of psychologists and films like 1974’s A Woman Under the Influence. The actress tried to keep her distance from cast members — and a litter of kittens being used for the film — in order to retain her character’s level of emotional aloofness. “You would think that that idea of playing somebody who’s out of control or lost touch with reality is somehow fun, but it was to a point of discomfort,” the actress says. “[My character] is completely delusional and it’s definitely a cause of a chemical imbalance, so that wasn’t the easiest and most enjoyable thing. Even in her most normal moments, she’s genuinely a disturbed person. She had very abnormal wheels turning at all times.”

But will friends let Meester play psychiatrist, now that she’s garnered knowledge about mental health? Not quite, says Meester. “I don’t think they’ll want my advice after they see this movie.”

Leighton Meester's Bloody Face Scares Cops

Actress Leighton Meester left traffic cops concerned and terrified when they stopped her for speeding and discovered she had blood all over her face.

The Gossip Girl star was dashing home after shooting new thriller The Roommate and had forgotten to wipe the fake goo off her face.

She says, “My character goes through a lot of problems… (and) I ended up with a lot of blood on my face… I looked like I had been in a cage fight.

“The police pulled me over… I might have been going a little fast… They were like, ‘How much have you had to drink?’ and when I said, ‘Nothing,’ they said, ‘Get out of the car’. They made me do the follow the finger and the whole thing and then they were like, ‘When does the movie come out?’

“I was just so out of it from the movie, I wasn’t drunk… I was in a weird state of mind, driving home and it was about three o’clock in the morning… I think they thought somebody had beaten me up.”

Leighton Meester Teams Up With Cobra Starship

Leighton Meester is best known for her role on Gossip Girl, but she’s making her name known as a real artist! Believe it or not, she was recruited by band Cobra Starship for their new single Good Girls Go Bad.

We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Leighton can really sing! The song was co-written by Kara DioGuardi, and the group remixed the song just yesterday in the studio.

Ryan Seacrest is calling Good Girls Go Bad the “song of the summer.” Leighton and Cobra Starship will be appearing this weekend at Wango Tango.

I loove this song and Leighton sings really good. To listen to the song press play.
