Leighton Marissa Meester

Leighton Meester was in a TV commercial advertising those fabulous fad toys Tamagotchi “back in the day,” and it’s adorable. She plays an angel! Do you remember these toys? I do and feel a little old, haha, Check it out:

Production Weekly wrote on their official twitter page that Leighton Meester and Amber Heard will topline Jess Manafort’s Cowgirl Bandits with Paul Schiff producing. The movie is being dubed a a young version of Thelma & Louise.

Manafort worked with Meester and Heard on the 2007 film Remember the Daze. The movie, which Manafort also wrote, revolved around the relationship dynamics of a group of suburban teens on the last day of school in 1999.

We’ll continue to keep you posted on this news! Definitely sounds interesting, I adored Manafort’s Daze and both Leighton and Amber in it. Not to mention Thelma & Louise is one of my all time favorites.

GOSSIP GIRL star LEIGHTON MEESTER is the favourite to land the leading role in a modern retelling of the BEAUTY & THE BEAST story.
Meester is slated to play a high school Belle in TV movie Beastly.
Her monstrous co-star has yet to be found, although Eonline.com reports Zak Efron was initially in negotiations to play the teenager turned into a beast by a jealous castmate.
Sources insist Meester is very keen to star in the modern fairytale: “She really wants to do it.”
The film will be based on writer Alex Finn’s young-adult supernatural novel of the same name.

As you guys all know Leighton has done a campaign with Reebok Shoes and I have finially been able to add the ad the she did for the shoes. Back in 2004 Leighton did a guest appearance in the tv show Crissing Jordan. Leighton played the role of Marie Strand, a young girl that has been obducted by someone. I’m not a fan, nor have ever been a fan of the show but Leighton did a good job. She looks so young and cute. Captures are viewable in the gallery.

Impossibly cute Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has signed to star in the Sony Screen Gems thriller, The Roommate, which sounds a bit like a college revamp of Single White Female.

Meester, who plays the bitchy Blair on the hit show, will star as Sara, a freshman student who is assigned a new roommate, Rebecca, only to find said roommate becoming dangerously obsessed with her, targeting her loved ones and generally going all doolally.

OK, so we were wrong – it’s a lot like Single White Female. In fact, if you called it Single White Roommate, nobody would bat an eyelid. Might even pick up a few curious moviegoers…

Anyway, the wonderfully-named Christian E. Christiansen will direct the movie, which was written by Sonny Mallhi. But we’re intrigued to see how Meester will fare on the big screen.

So far her movie career has consisted of a string of forgettable and little-seen fare – can Single White R… sorry, The Roommate see her break out as a movie star? Or will the actress who nabs the as-yet uncast Rebecca role receive all the plaudits? Oh, it’s so tense already – we can hardly bear to look!

Last year Leighton had a role in the tv aired movie called The Haunting of Sorority Row and I have finially got my hands on it and been able to captures the movie, which in my oppinion wasn’t that great. But Leighton was amazing! Videos will be added asap. This is what the movie is about:

A college freshman (Leighton Meester) suspects there is something sinister about the prestigious sorority to which she decided to pledge. She comes to find out that there is a mystery surrounding the disappearance of a pledge from the previous year.Too many questions and strange happenings add quite a twist to this tale.
