Leighton Meester – "Somebody To Love" Song Debut

Leighton’s debut single has premiered today! She told Ryan Seacrest “it’s definitely about what’s going on in my life and I think anybody can relate. You’re crazy, you’re busy, you’re young and you’re running around and it’s really hard to find somebody to love. People love you but you don’t really love them.”

Read the lyrics below and listen to the song.

Paris, France to Michigan
London town and through Berlin
I can’t believe this place I’m in
Everywhere and back again
Porcelain and China dolls
Give me one and I’ve seen them all
Got my back against the wall
Wonder where I’ll be tomorrow?

Gossip Girl Threesome To Come

Attention, Upper East Siders: OMFGWTFHOLLA!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Gossip Girl’s Nov. 9 episode will feature three major characters having sex. At the same time. In the same bed. Together.

And I repeat: OMFHWTFHOLLA!

Though my Gossip mole has asked that I not ID the threesome (on the grounds that it would ruin a major upcoming storyline, or some such nonsense), I can confirm that the kinky tryst will involve one of the following combos…

Chuck/Blair/Nate: A recent study indicated that the only thing standing between GG and a 98 share in the show’s target 18-34 gay male demo is a scene with Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick in bed together naked. Leighton Meester can watch.

Lady Gaga Guest Starring on Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl has already welcomed a bevy of celebrity guest stars to The CW set from Tyra Banks to Hilary Duff who is currently appearing in a multi-episode arc, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Joanna Garcia a former CW (and WB) staple. Now Lady Gaga is getting her CW Gossip Girl groove on after her SNL guest stint. According to a Gossip Girl related report from E!, Lady Gaga will play herself and will also perform a few songs on the show. However, more details about the Lady Gaga Gossip Girl appearance have yet to surface.

E! News also reported that filming has already started on the Lady Gaga episode, which will reportedly air sometime mid-season. Gossip Girl has prided itself on its shock value, especially with its OMFG campaign last year and Lady Gaga is no stranger to pushing the envelope. Lady Gaga will undoubtedly pack more than a musical punch on Gossip Girl and raise eyebrows given her sexy flamboyant style and fashion sense.

On the red carpet at the Emmys, the 23-year-old Gossip Girl actress spilled that the first single from her much-anticipated album will be a collaboration with R&B crooner Robin Thicke. The song’s title has not yet been released.

JJ: Your stylist Logan Horne boy was featured on tastemaster Scott Schuman’s fashion blog The Sartorialist.

LM: Yeah, he showed me! It’s cute. He’s a cutie pie.

JJ: You’ve been attending a few fashion shows this week. When you see a look you like, do you put in a request?

LM: Well, the other night, someone asked me how I dressed myself and I was, like, “My stylist dresses me” but I’d say it’s, like, 80-90% him and the rest is me because I’m very open-minded and we’re always on the same page – just very open-minded and it’s fun.

Entertainment Weekly's First Look At The Roomate

Loved 1992’s Single White Female? Then you’ll love 2010’s Leighton Meester-Minka Kelly thriller, The Roommate. Like Female, Roommate focuses on obsession: The film follows a college freshman (Meester) who develops an unhealthy fascination with her roommate (Kelly). For her role,Meester says she went method, researching mental illness with the help of psychologists and films like 1974’s A Woman Under the Influence. The actress tried to keep her distance from cast members — and a litter of kittens being used for the film — in order to retain her character’s level of emotional aloofness. “You would think that that idea of playing somebody who’s out of control or lost touch with reality is somehow fun, but it was to a point of discomfort,” the actress says. “[My character] is completely delusional and it’s definitely a cause of a chemical imbalance, so that wasn’t the easiest and most enjoyable thing. Even in her most normal moments, she’s genuinely a disturbed person. She had very abnormal wheels turning at all times.”

But will friends let Meester play psychiatrist, now that she’s garnered knowledge about mental health? Not quite, says Meester. “I don’t think they’ll want my advice after they see this movie.”
